Zoe Saldana shines with natural look
A star of the Avatar film has embraced her natural beauty on the red carpet at the Oscars, using neutral shades at the world-famous event.
The LA Times blog stated that the actress and makeup artist Vera Steimberg worked out a natural look that matched her half-champagne, half lavender gown.
"We wanted to give her the sexy, sophisticated look, but fresh. So I concentrated more on her eyes and her skin, keeping colours neutral for the lips and cheeks," Steimberg said.
The look was not boring, according to the makeup artist, who said that Saldana wanted the style to make her skin "show and glow" when on the red carpet.
Stylist magazine's Emma Smith recently said that women can find that winter makes creating interesting looks harder and a real challenge, which could see people invest in new natural skin care products.
