Expert: Less is more with makeup
Applying less makeup and making sure it is completely removed before going to bed is vital if you want to achieve natural beauty, according to one expert.
Martha Kepner, a health and beauty reporter for Examiner.com, said natural skin care products like oil-free eye makeup removers help to create a look of natural beauty.
She said: "It might seem like an odd time for resolutions, but committing yourself to dropping a few all-too-common skin care bad habits makes good sense any time of year."
The writer also recommended taking extra care with your hair especially if it is fragile or damaged and said your weekly hair routine should include a strengthening mask to hydrate, protect and add body and shine.
Pop star Savannah Outen has recently told Examiner.com about her beauty tips which include applying sunscreen and trying to be as natural as possible with her makeup.
