"I've developed eczema on my scalp, stress or whatever, and my Doctor prescribed a tar based shampoo called ""Capasal"". This hasn't worked. So after much googling, I finally came to this website and this shampoo - recommended for eczema, etc. I've only used it twice so far and I have to say I'm impressed! I think it's great that it is also free from nasty chemicals. My partner said it left his scalp feeling clean and flake free and it wasn't itchy like it normally is. He now wants me to buy him the full size product! The only downside is the price but I'm sure it is worth if you suffer from an irritated scalp. "

I found the instructions on another website so intructions for use on the website would be good. "Absolutely love this shampoo so far. I seem to have a constant itchy scalp and all other shampoos just irritate it, but not this! After just two washes with it, my head hasn't been itchy at all.
Unlike some other completely natural shampoos, Barefoot Botanicals really lathers up well like other shampoo.
It also smells lovely!
The only downer is the price, it is expensive for the size of the bottle.
If it was cheaper it definitely would have got 5 stars."

"I'm kind of reserving judgement on this shampoo. So far I find it a little drying on my hair and scalp. But it could be that it's the changeover from a sulfate-shampoo to a natural one (it can take a while for your scalp/hair to adjust). I do really like the smell - it's citrusy/herby but not overpowering. It generates a lot of lather, too, which not all natural shampoos do!"

"I suffer from extremely dry skin and I bought this shampoo because the sample worked brilliantly - my hair was left shining and soft and my scalp no longer itched. However, I'm afraid the results I had were nowhere nothing like the previous ones - my hair was dull and flat and my scalp still itched badly. I tried three times using various amounts of shampoo to see if it made a difference and sadly it did not. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the full product. I did use the matching conditioner as well."
