I have tried other products which not only didn't make it better but made it worse. This has papain in it which is proven to inhibit growth and maybe the truffles do something too? "I've been using this for a few weeks morning and night on my eyebrows and upperlip. I've especially noticed how much it works on my upperlip. I usually use facial hair bleach to make the finer hairs less noticeable and then pluck the thicker ones. Well I haven't had any bleach, and I haven't had to tweeze for a while. It's either growing in finer or not at all, because even without the facial hair bleach, and minimal tweezing it's been much more manageable. I didn't expect this to work, but it's the best working product I've tried. I'm going to buy the body one next time."

"This product is pretty good. It's light and smells gorgeous. It also works pretty quickly. I found that this product worked in 2 ways: The skin around ingrown hairs were softened which then made them easier to remove if they didn't remove themselves, and it also prevented new ones.
My only downside is that it's such a small bottle! My skin is riddled with ingrowns so to use it on my legs, arms and armpits meant it lasted me about 10 days (although I think it's worth the investment)"
