"I have tried this mineral foundation as my skin has had allergic reactions to chemicals in other brand liquid foundations. I must admit that I am surprised already at how great this little pot is, a little goes a very long way. It feels like you have nothing on your skin and stays put. I have had compliments already about how clear my skin looks with this and I have only really started using it. I'm hoping with continued use, it will help in clearing the damage that other foundations have caused to my skin. I find it hard to get a foundation to match my skin tone, as I have very Irish, very fair skin, this is a perfect match. Finally!!"

"Lovely highlighter for cheek and brow bones. The colour is bronzey-pink, and as I'm very pale skinned I'd probably prefer a lighter shade. It's a good, animal & eco-friendly alternative to Benefit's High Beam. However the liquid settles in the tube so even when it's new the tube looks half-filled, like it's been used already - I wonder if they could either fill it up more or put it in a smaller tube?"

"I bought 'Pink Pinch' , a light to medium-light pink which I find ideal for pale, cool-toned skin. Gives a healthy glow with a very slight sheen which is very natural and not sparkly. My skin is sensitive and has not reacted to use.

Pot is smaller in size than I expected but 3 grams of product should last a good while as so little is used at a time. Pot features a sponge applicator and built-in mirror on the lid, making this ideal for handbags, although you do not have to apply via the sponge, as can easily unscrew the pot to access the loose powder."

My only gripe is with the cap. It doesn't go on tightly enough so if you carry it in a make up pouch/case, the cap always comes off. Pushing it down harder doesn't help as that makes the sharpener engage on the pencil and the cap still falls off.

If Inika would fix the cap issue, this would be 5 stars."

"I am using this as an all over finishing powder. There isn't as much sparkle as I expected (kind of wish there was a bit more) so I can use it all over my face. The jar size surprised me; for some reason I was expecting the 8g size jar and this is a smaller 3.5g jar. I think it would be useful to have the grams on the product page, as I don't believe it currently is."

"I love it! It really is silky and you only need to apply the tiniest amount to 'problem' areas. Although it absorbs excess oil it doesn't seem to be drying my skin out which has happened with other products. "Inika starter kit for light skin. Pros: good blendable consistency and excellent coverage (I have some redness), stays on well, feels good doesn't irritate. Cons: For me the problem was the colour. I have fair skin, and both foundations and the bronzer were way way too dark for me and quite orange too, they also give a sheen which tends to highlight enlarged pores - not what you want from a foundation. Verdict: very disappointed because Inika claim that even fair skinned people can use these products - not so. I will be using the foundations as bronzer and giving the bronzer to someone with medium skin! The primer is gorgeous though - smells divine, very light and easily absorbed, makes my skin really soft. Lovely soft brush too.

Note from mypure: The Inika range has been reformulated and the new products will be launching at mypure by mid march 2010."

"I bought 'Moroccan Rose' which I've found lighter and more coral-based than expected and also more shimmery than expected. It goes very well with the 'Rosebud' lipstick.

Although I'd prefer a matte finish for a liner, this is nice to use as it is non-drying, has no unpleasant taste or smell and the sharpener on the lid is a great feature."

"Was very excited about finding vegan, cruelty-free, natural lipstick. Bought 'Rosebud' and 'Electric Red'.

Found them a little dry on 1st application so would advise lip-balming first. Now I have used them a week or so I like them for a very natural look. Rosebud is a coral pink which I'm using for day times, Electric Red a darker reddish-pink with orange undertones - not a bright red as I hoped for.

If applied too thickly I got a frosted effect which I find quite dated and not great, so I find these best used lightly to give a natural stain of colour - there is still a slight shimmer left on the lips when used in this way, so I'd avoid if you require a matte finish."

"Bought the black which gives a very natural look, fine if like me you just want colour and no special effects.

According to the packaging, one side of the brush is designed to separate & lengthen and the other to thicken & volumise lashes, although I havent noticed this in effect. It is a rather thick brush, which could maybe be a problem if lashes are very short.

Have had some smudging and for this reason find it best for everyday use rather than nights-out ."

"This is an update to my previous review after using the product for several months. It seems the black eyeliner is just much, much too soft. Once sharpened, it breaks off into the cap and you can't get it out without jamming something thin in between the sharpening blade and pushing it out. And it breaks all the time due to it being too soft. My pencil is down to 5cm long due to how often it breaks on me. My daughter's grey is fairing much better and her pencil is at least twice as long and both are used daily.

So, I recommend the grey, but not the black. But again, the cap falls off all the time which leads to eyeliner getting all over the inside of your make-up case and leaves your eyeliner out to get dirty or broken."
