I have coloured my hair every conceivable colour over the years so found this extremely depressing that I was now intolerant to hair colour. I tested this product on the back of my ear and left it for 48 hours as suggested..and nothing! I have now coloured my hair from blonde to dark chestnut and I have to say it has taken fantastically well. The shine on my hair is gorgeous! As it is a semi perm. it does fade quickly but it has been over a week now and the dark is still in and I have some very nice little highlights.     I've never used organic hair dye before so I was expecting it to be a messy experience, but not only was it easy to apply, the immediate colour result was fantastic. Quite often with High street dyes, I have to leave the colour on for longer than is recommended to get the roots to take, but that has never felt very safe and I always ended up with a tingerly scalp. But Naturtint can be left on for up to 45 minutes, and it feels like this allows for much better absorption. The after-washed effect wasn't super-slippy (silicone-coated) hair either, it was just really nicely soft and manageable. Worth spending that bit extra on, for safety and certainly for results. I'll never go back to the chemical rubbish now."

It stays in for 3-4 weeks depending on how often I wash my hair. I think it is an excellent PPD-free product. This did a good cover for the white at the front but it came out ginger. So I think I will try the Hazel nut blonde mixed together with the golden blonde and see if that works better for me."

    "Colour initially very strong but looked great. Washes out a little after every wash but even though I wash my hair every day it's lasting pretty well and the grey coverage was good. Use a dark towel each time you wash your hair. Product was lovely to use - no nasty smells or tingling sensations. Will definitely use again. I used the light chestnut colour."

    "Used this for the first time today and am very pleased with the result. The mixture is like a gel and it didn't run or drip so application was fairly easy, just took time. Think I left it on for about 35 mins. Now I'll wait and see how long it lasts! Might try a lighter shade next time!"

    "I have used this twice now, makes my hair super shiny. It smells pleasent and is easy to apply. I needed to leave it on for full time to cover grey properly. Also colours come up quite dark so you may have to play around a bit to get it right, I am going to mix two colours together next time as first one was little too light and second a little too dark so hopefully next time will be just right. I would recommend this product."

    "Works really well for a natural semi-permanent, shame they don't do a bigger size though. Woulkdn't be enough for someone with long / thick hair. I've used before & it lasts about 2/3 weeks as I wash my hair virtually every day. I'll try leaving on for 45 minutes next time to see if it lasts longer."

    "I tried this as I thought it would be a safer option to use during pregnancy and it was ok. The coverage was decent but not fantastic. It didn't give me the same softness and shine as my usual hair dye and it was a bit messy to use but it has left me feeling much better than I did with huge roots. I would use this during pregnancy again but will go back to my regular dye once my baby is born. "

    "i recently coloured with golden blond 9 weeks ago and wanted to try a different shade to blend greys. I was after a dark blond. Used 8A (Ash Blond) and ended up with platinum blond! It does not resemble the colour on the box whatsoever. Even looked at the guide showing what shade it might be depending on natural colour. Phoned the helpline on box to be told I would need to colour again to darken. Since I used permanent it will not fade, only grow out.
    Needless to say, I'm not pleased. I would highly recommend doing the test as it states. I didn't expect the colour on the box to be so different from the outcome."
