They are just as effective as other brands, but unlike most other brands (which are mostly made from synthetic materials like rayon, polypropylene and polyethylene), Cottons are only made from 100% natural cotton. Cottons tampons are also hypo-allergenic and biodegradable.

All Cottons tampons are made using a Quality System and accord with AS/NZS 2869:1998 standards made from 100% fragrance free natural first grade cotton

Tampons are tampons right? ERM, no! Itd always best to chose tampons that are organic and natural because sadly non organic and non natural ones ate full of all sorts of nasties (chemicals used when making them). And these things are placed inside our bodies - eek! Keep it organic and nee it natural, its the best way. These tampons look the same as any other tampon, they are easy to use and hold blood flow as they should. They are also really fairly priced too. Bonus!
