We've put the term "chemical-free" in quotes because it is sometimes misleadingly used to describe natural cosmetics. The term "chemical free" is just clever marketing to convince us that when we buy something natural that it is actually chemical free when in truth it is not. Everything around us is made from chemicals: the plants growing in your garden and the skin covering your body are made from complex sets of chemicals.
At mypure we interpret chemical free to mean products made from naturally occurring chemicals such as plant extracts and oils or any of the thousands of naturally occurring ingredients which can be used safely in cosmetics. All the products we sell at mypure are free from chemicals with dubious safety records. In fact all of the products we sell are put through a thorough vetting process - we call it the mypure purity promise - to weed out any suspect ingredients.
PS - Anyone who can come up with a "chemical-free" product can claim the Royal Society of Chemistry's £1,000,000 prize.
The mypure promise
We have a very thorough vetting process called the mypure purity promise which we apply to everything we sell. We check to make sure there are no nasty chemicals or any ingredients which are likely to cause skin irritation or allergies. As a result we have very few complaints but if you do buy something from us that you don't like just return it to us within 14 days for a full refund.
